Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 2026

STENGEN is a tool that lets you upload images and generate tattoo stencil previews using AI. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information we collect

Account data

If you sign up, we store email, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers (e.g. for Google sign-in).

Images you upload

Images are sent to our backend and to third-party AI providers (e.g. Replicate) to generate stencils. We do not use them for training models or marketing.

Usage data

We may log requests (e.g. IP, timestamps) for security and operation. We do not sell this data.

How we use your information

We use account and usage data to run the service, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. Uploaded images are processed only to produce stencil outputs and are not retained longer than necessary for that purpose unless required by law.

Third-party services

Stencil generation uses external AI APIs (e.g. Replicate). When you use the tool, your image and prompt may be sent to these providers under their respective privacy terms. We choose providers that do not train on customer data for model improvement.

Cookies and storage

We use cookies and local storage for session and preferences (e.g. staying signed in). You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may then not work.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data. To do so, contact us using the details provided on the site. If you are in the EU/UK, you may also have rights to object, restrict processing, or lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
